Meet the Founder
I'm Alton Clark, a Philadelphia native, retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief, licensed barber, certified cosmetologist, and founder of Clark & DuBose House.
For more than 23 years, I served my country in the United States Navy, where discipline, professionalism, precision, and attention to detail were not simply expectations—they were a way of life. Those same principles now define every experience I create for the gentlemen I serve.
After retiring from military service, I discovered that barbering was more than a profession. It became another opportunity to serve, helping men present themselves with confidence, dignity, and purpose. Every haircut, beard service, and grooming experience is an opportunity to restore confidence, sharpen presence, and remind a man that how he carries himself matters.
